After the success of the ‘Student House’ prospectus (also featured in our top 25 memorable pieces of work) we were asked to assist the University with the launch of its brand new fashion course. Using visual reference from the iconic ‘sewing patterns’ our mums used to make funky trouser suits from, we created a spoof piece, which was sent out to schools and colleges to create awareness of the new course.
The project was particularly memorable, not just because it was fun to do but also because it caught the judge’s eye at the 2005 Cream Awards picking up two awards for ‘Best Promotional Piece’ and ‘Best Art Direction’.
